HIGHLIGHT ANNOUNCES TRACY NGUYEN AS CFO AND ELAINE SCHLEGEL AS VP OF CONTRACTS

Fairfax, VA – In March 2018, Highlight Technologies, a Fairfax, Virginia-based firm providing IT development and transformation, secure IT operations, and mission support services, named Tracy Nguyen as Chief Financial Officer and Elaine Schlegel as Vice President of Contracts.

Ms. Nguyen has over 18 years of combined experience in government contracting, non-profit organizations, and local governments. Since joining Highlight in 2015, she has migrated the company to enterprise-level systems and implemented the best practices for control and cash flow management. She handles a wide range of high-impact duties including corporate financial planning, tax planning and payments, business licensing, project accounting, and payroll processing. Ms. Nguyen’s expertise has enabled Highlight to pass all DCAA audits and maintain approved rates for bidding on cost-type contracts.

Ms. Schlegel joined Highlight in 2016 with over 16 years of experience providing lifecycle contract administration and management. She also manages the pricing team and oversees all proposal submissions. Her role also includes managing the relationship with the contracting officers, handling contract mods, tracking funding status, and ensuring contract compliance with our contracts, task orders, and GWACs. She recently played a key role in securing the Alliant 2 Small Business contract for Highlight Technologies.

HIGHLIGHT’S CEO TO SPEAK AT AFCEA 2018 SIGNAL CONFERENCE

Highlight’s CEO Rebecca Andino will be a panelist in a Small Business Panel at the AFCEA 2018 Signal Conference at the conference on March 8, 2018. The theme of this year’s event is “Unprecedented Opportunities,” which will focus on the Army Signal Community as its ability to meet the needs of the new Army strategy will start to transform. Ms. Andino was chosen for this panel due to her leadership and experience supporting Federal agencies as a database developer, project manager, and as the founder and CEO of Highlight Technologies.

HIGHLIGHT ANNOUNCES NEW VICE PRESIDENTS ASHLEY NICHOLS AND TAMAR MINTZ

Fairfax, VA – Highlight adds two VPs to the executive leadership team. Ashley Nichols joins as Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development. Tamar Mintz joins as Vice President of Delivery and Portfolio Management. Nichols and Mintz will be important personnel in improving operations, capabilities, and business development for Highlight.

Nichols has over 20 years of experience in new business development and operations. Most recently, she was the Director of Federal Civilian Enterprise IT, managing an Infrastructure and DevOps portfolio across several civilian agencies including the Department of State, USAID, PBGC and EPA. As Highlight’s VP for Corporate Strategy and Development, Nichols will provide leadership and guidance to the capture, business development, and proposal aspects of the business.

Mintz has over 9 years of experience in the government contracting realm, with expertise in business development, project management and account development. As Vice President for Delivery and Portfolio Management at Highlight, she will focus on delivery quality, customer satisfaction, portfolio strategy and growth.
