Rebecca has supported federal agencies for over 20 years as a database developer, project manager, and now as the founder and CEO of Highlight. She is passionate about developing and mentoring others and delivering quality solutions to government customers. As the CEO, she is responsible for defining and executing the vision and strategy for the company while ensuring the company is aligning to its corporate values.
Rebecca is a certified Project Management Professional (P.M.P.) and is Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations certified. She earned a B.S. in Linguistics from the University of Illinois, an M.S. in Computational Linguistics from Georgetown University, and an M.B.A. from George Washington University. Rebecca is a former co-chair of the AFCEA Small Business Committee and a member of Women in Technology; She volunteers as a mentor in the AFCEA and W.I.T. Mentor-Protégé programs.
If she could have any superpower, it would be time control power, where she could pause, rewind, slo-mo, and fast forward.
