Tamar Mintz

Vice President, Mission Solutions

Tamar has over ten years of experience in government contracting with expertise in business development, project management, and account development. Tamar started as an Account Manager for Highlight in 2012 and has managed both I.T. and Professional Services programs. Since returning in 2019, she has been responsible for managing and growing our Professional Services portfolio. Today as a Vice President, she focuses on delivery quality, customer satisfaction, portfolio strategy, and growth to ensure program success and adherence to Highlight’s culture. 

Active in numerous organizations, including AFCEA Bethesda, ACT/IAC, PMI of D.C. Chapter, and AMARC, she has been recognized across the industry for her business acumen and contributions to the collaboration of industry and government. She received the Distinguished Young AFCEAN award in 2013 and the Emerging Leadership award in 2015 from AFCEA International. Tamar is currently certified in P.M.P., C.S.M., and ITIL. 

Tamar is a native DC-er, currently living in Northern Virginia with her husband, son, and their Golden Retriever Rocky. When Tamar was 10, she wanted to be a lawyer because she thought a job where you got to argue all day sounded like a dream. She has been quoted as “grateful that I changed my mind and have a role where I never have to argue.”
