Highlight Appoints New Board Member, Wayne Rehberger

Highlight appointed Wayne Rehberger as the fifth member of the Board of Directors. The Board guides and oversees Highlight’s growth and maturity as a 100% Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)-owned company.

“I am thrilled to join the Highlight Board at an exciting time in the company’s growth and look forward to leveraging my past experience as a financial and operational professional to provide advice as they continue to look at new areas for growth,” said Wayne Rehberger, Highlight Board Member.

Wayne brings decades of experience and leadership in the public sector across technology and professional services industries. Most recently, he served as the CFO of Engility and TASC before its merger with Engility (2010-2019). He supported the organic growth and the merger and acquisition activities for TASC/Engility up to its acquisition by SAIC in 2019. While the industry cycled through a severe downturn, Wayne helped guide both companies through material events and subsequent organic growth, creating significant shareholder value for investors and employees. Mr. Rehberger has since served as a Director on several public and private Boards, including QTS Realty Trust, Fusion Telecom, and Pixelligent and continues to serve as a Director of Abt Global, and GTT Telecom. Additionally, he served on the Advisory Board of SAP National Security Services.

Highlight Chief Financial Officer, Tracy Nguyen recognized as 2024 Transformative Financing Transaction CFO of the Year by Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC)

Fairfax, VA– Highlight Chief Financial Officer, Tracy Nguyen has been awarded the Transformative Financing Transaction CFO of the Year award. This award recognizes a transaction that allows a company to scale to its potential and continue its journey. It is not an exit but could include financings such as a venture capital fundraise, an investment from a strategic market participant, a private equity transaction (minority or majority investment), or a private equity to private equity sale where the company continues its journey. This transformative financing transaction must have occurred between January 1, 2023, and March 1, 2024.
