Fairfax, VA – October 2019, Highlight was announced as a 2019 CARE Awards winner. Highlight is recognized for being an outstanding company by engaging with the community and encouraging outstanding employee engagement culture and strategies to create the best place to work across our region.

CARE Awards winners are selected based on their performance in the categories of community involvement and impact, health and wellness benefits, work-life programs and policies, and development and education programs. This year, 32 companies are honored as responsive employers for their deep community impact, outstanding employee engagement and culture, and progressive family-friendly policies.

“It’s an honor to be part of the selected group of CARE Awards winners. This award is a testament to our company values and corporate commitment to our employees, and our community,” said Rebecca Andino, CEO of Highlight.

“The 2019 CARE Awards winners put people first. The leaders of these organizations understand that employee engagement happens when individuals and the causes they care about are valued and supported,” said Misti Mukherjee, CARE Awards committee chair and attorney, Extensio Law, PLLC. “The Awards program provides a unique opportunity to learn best practices from the most innovative and engaged workforces in our community.”

Awards will be presented at the 27th Annual CARE Awards Breakfast, held Friday, November 15, 2019, at the Sheraton Premiere Tysons Corner.
