HIGHLIGHT IS AWARDED A CONTRACT ON THE $20 BILLION CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER–SOLUTIONS AND PARTNERS 3 (CIO-SP3) SMALL BUSINESS GWAC

Fairfax, VA – In July 2019, Highlight was awarded the Chief Information Officer–Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) Small Business indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), multiple-award contract vehicle, as part of the CIO-SP3 Small Business On-Ramp.

The CIO-SP3 contract, awarded by the National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC), is a Government-Wide Acquisition Contract that can be used by any federal agency. It includes a wide range of IT services spanning across ten task areas and 137 labor categories for task orders in support of everything IT. The IT solutions and services include, but are not limited to, health and biomedical-related IT services to meet scientific, health, administrative, operational, managerial, and information management requirements.

Highlight was awarded the contract in the 8(a) Disadvantaged Small Business Group of the contract in all ten (10) task areas. The period of performance is July 11, 2019 through June 29, 2022.

 

The task areas include:

Task Area 1 – IT Services for Biomedical Research, Health Sciences, and Healthcare

Task Area 2 – Chief Information Officer (CIO) Support

Task Area 3 – Imaging

Task Area 4 – Outsourcing

Task Area 5 – IT Operations and Maintenance

Task Area 6 – Integration Services

Task Area 7 – Critical Infrastructure Protection and Information Assurance

Task Area 8 – Digital Government

Task Area 9 – Enterprise Resource Planning

Task Area 10 – Software Development

The CIO-SP3 webs allows small business an opportunity to participate in government requirements and gives government agencies a mechanism to help meet socioeconomic contracting goals.
